Payment & Security
Where your card details go, which is not to us
Checkout runs on Shopify. We never see or hold a full card number, and there is nothing on our side for anyone to steal.
How payment is handled
When you pay, the card details go straight from your browser to Shopify Checkout over a TLS-encrypted connection and on to the payment processor. Shopify is certified to PCI DSS Level 1, the standard that applies to the largest card handlers. What comes back to us is an order: your name, delivery address, email, what you bought, and the last four digits of the card with its brand. That is the whole of it.
Nobody here can retrieve a card number, because it was never stored where we could reach it. If you email us asking us to change a payment, we cannot — we can only refund and let you order again.
Prices are in US dollars
Every price on the site is USD and that is what you are charged. If your card is issued in another currency, your bank sets the conversion rate and may add its own fee. We never see either.
When you are charged
Once, at checkout, for the full amount including shipping. No subscriptions, no saved cards for later, no charge on dispatch.
On your statement
The charge appears under our trading name, Dorqelin. If you see a Hong Kong descriptor alongside it that is the registered company, Eazy Trading International Limited, not a second charge.
Taxes and duties
US orders are shipped with no duties collected at checkout; at these order values customs charges are rare. Outside the US, any local charge is the recipient's.
What we keep, and for how long
- Order records, including your delivery address, for as long as we are required to keep accounting records.
- Your email, to send the order confirmation and dispatch notice.
- The card brand and last four digits, so we can match a refund to the right payment.
We do not sell any of it and we do not send marketing unless you ask for it. The full account is in our privacy policy.
Refunds
A refund goes back to the card that paid, always — we cannot send it anywhere else. Shopify releases it immediately; how long it takes to appear is your bank's business, and five to ten business days is normal. Terms are on the refund policy.
If something looks wrong
A charge you do not recognise, an email from us that reads oddly, or a page asking for details it should not: stop and email info@dorqelin.com. We will never email you asking for a card number, a password, or a payment by transfer, and any message that does is not from us.
Dorqelin is a trading name of Eazy Trading International Limited, registered in Hong Kong. Contact: info@dorqelin.com.
